Welcome to Driveways Paving. By using our services, you agree to follow these terms and conditions. These terms outline the rules and responsibilities for both our company and our customers. If you do not agree to any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

1. Services
We specialize in designing and installing driveways, patios, and paving solutions. Our services include Resin Bound Driveways, Block Paving, Tarmac Driveways, Natural Stone Driveways, Porcelain, Concrete, Gravel Driveways, Clay Paving, Granite Driveway Setts, and other related works. We use high-quality materials to ensure durability and longevity. All our projects are delivered to the highest standards, and we provide a five-year guarantee on our workmanship.

2. Payments
Payments must be made according to the terms agreed upon in the contract. A deposit may be required before work begins. Full payment must be made upon completion of the project. Late payments may result in additional charges, and failure to pay may lead to legal action. We accept payments through bank transfers, credit cards, and other agreed-upon methods.

3. Guarantees
All work completed by Driveways Paving comes with a five-year guarantee. This covers defects in materials and workmanship. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by natural wear and tear, improper maintenance, misuse, or external factors such as severe weather conditions, flooding, or tree root growth. Any claims under this guarantee must be submitted in writing with proof of the issue.

4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing before work begins. If a cancellation is made after the materials have been ordered, the customer will be responsible for any costs incurred. Refunds are only available for work that has not started. If work has begun, the customer may be charged for the labor and materials already used. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

5. Liability
Driveways Paving is not responsible for any damages caused by unforeseen circumstances, such as extreme weather conditions, underground utility issues, or third-party interference. While we take every precaution to ensure quality work, we are not liable for damages resulting from factors beyond our control. We recommend that customers inform us of any potential underground pipes, cables, or other obstacles before work begins.

6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure clear access to the worksite. This includes removing vehicles, furniture, or other obstacles that may hinder progress. Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary permits required for the work. If additional work is needed due to undisclosed site conditions, extra costs may apply. Customers should also ensure that children and pets are kept away from the work area for safety reasons.

7. Changes to Work
Any requested changes to the agreed-upon work must be made in writing. Changes may result in additional costs and extended completion time. If unforeseen issues arise during the project, we will inform the customer of any necessary adjustments before proceeding.

8. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If a customer has a complaint regarding our services, they must notify us in writing within 14 days of project completion. We will review and address the complaint as quickly as possible. If a resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to an independent mediator or taken to court under Irish law.

9. Worksite Conditions
We require a stable and suitable worksite for driveway and paving installations. If site conditions are not as expected, additional work and costs may be necessary. If the ground requires excavation, reinforcement, or other preparations, we will discuss the details and costs with the customer before proceeding.

10. Health and Safety
Safety is our priority. Our team follows strict health and safety guidelines while working on your property. Customers must not interfere with ongoing work, and access to the worksite should be restricted to authorized personnel only. Any safety concerns should be reported to us immediately.

11. Waste Disposal
We will remove and dispose of waste generated during the installation process. However, if additional waste removal is required due to customer requests or changes in project scope, extra fees may apply. We ensure that waste disposal follows all environmental regulations.

12. Permits and Regulations
Customers are responsible for obtaining any required permits for driveway or paving work. We can offer guidance on permit applications, but it is ultimately the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations. If work is delayed due to permit issues, additional charges may apply.

13. Use of Materials
We use high-quality materials to ensure long-lasting results. However, natural materials such as stone, clay, and gravel may have variations in color and texture. Customers acknowledge that minor differences in appearance may occur and do not constitute a defect.

14. Subcontracting
In some cases, we may use subcontractors to complete certain aspects of the work. All subcontractors follow our quality and safety standards. Customers will be informed if subcontractors are involved in their project.

15. Weather Delays
Outdoor work is subject to weather conditions. Heavy rain, extreme cold, or other weather issues may delay the project. We will inform customers of any delays and reschedule work as necessary. No refunds will be issued due to weather-related delays.

16. Termination of Services
We reserve the right to terminate services if a customer fails to comply with these terms, fails to make payments, or engages in abusive or threatening behavior. If services are terminated due to a breach of contract, no refunds will be issued.

17. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by Irish law. Any disputes arising from our services will be handled in Irish courts.
